We are looking for an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our team at a luxury salon in the heart of North Leeds. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hair styling and colouring, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, and skilled in creating beautiful, tailored looks for our clients.
Ideal for fully qualified stylists looking to be self-employed and run their own business in a welcoming, professional environment—without the costs or stress of managing their own salon!
With availability across 7 days, you can choose the days that work best for you, with a minimum commitment of 2 working days per week.

We require you to have
A full Level 2 hairdressing qualification & ideally Level 3 advanced qualification
Public liability insurance (must be in date)
Your own ‘kit’ including dryer, brushes and scissors etc
Specific foils/ forms/ easy meche etc (basic foil will be provided)
Your own means of payment. i.e - card machine, bank transfer etc
Business cards
Smart / Casual black dress code
Own stock i.e - colours, lotions, toners, treatments etc
Salon online booking system (option to use ours)
A fun and trustworthy personality
Part-time and single-day rates are available, with the option to consider monthly rates for 3 or more consecutive days per week. Ideally, you’ll bring your own clientele and manage your own marketing, but we’re happy to assist in building your business if needed, as we benefit from plenty of passing trade.
Our salon is situated in a busy shopping complex in Alwoodley, LS17, offering FREE all-day parking. We are conveniently located near popular amenities such as Sainsbury's, Costa Coffee, and Subway. Just a short distance from the David Lloyd Centre and Allerton High School, we’re also easily accessible via main bus routes from the Ring Road.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services including cutting, colouring, and styling
Offer expert advice on hair care and maintenance to clients
Mentor and train young up and coming stylists to enhance their skills
Manage the front desk when needed
Upsell salon products and services to clients
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with expertise in barbering (Trade test will be required)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage store operations effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
